Chris, if these companies are forced to
expense Employee Stock Options it will
make a substantial difference in their
bottom lines...

add to that the FASB mandated changes in
the 40 year rule for writing off goodwill...

which will wreak havoc with Book Value..

example: WCOM has a Book Value of 55 Billion...50 Billion
of which is Goodwill...now suddenly they have to take a
charge on the whole thing in one fell swoop?

not to mention anything else the SEC comes up with
to placate the public post-Enron...

well, it may not be pretty.
