While the USA was still hiding behind the oceans Perhaps the U.S would have helped Europe against the Nazis earlier if Britain, France, Holland, etc. had not already stolen the freedom of vast numbers of other peoples in Africa and Asia. It was quite hypocritical and shameful for Europeans to cry about their freedom, ask for our help, and then attempt to re-institute colonialism after the war.

GFY dude. You obviously have a problem with Americans. We weren't always the most powerful nation on earth. It took a lot of balls, brains and hard work to get here. Europeans are all nuts and practically every nation has tried to take over the world at one time or another. They have been killing each other since the beginning of time. Why should we care? Save your world government. It's the responsibility of all the various nations to help themselves. I'm not going to submit the US under a ruling body made of all the other nations. We have everything to lose from such an arrangement and nothing to gain. You need to stay away from whatever your smoking. If you had any sense at all you would fear world government like you fear the end of the world. How long before an elite develops and a repressive system sets in? Who will stand against it? Opposition will have nowhere to rise from. The plurality of the world is its own system of checks and balances. The various states of the US don't have enough individual freedoms as it is. They have little ability to vary from federal mandates that they may disagree with. The negative effects of this are many. If all of you "other" 6 billion want to wack each other then be my guest. We got a population problem anyway.
