OT**Re:Nepal....take the trip... Brian.... This must be the height of the summer season in Nepal.... Take the trip but be careful... 1) Enjoy the trip and try not to look excessively American. Look up some pictures of German or Russian or French backpackers and try to copy that look. 2) Don't tell anyone there that you are a Republican Bush fan (until an hour prior to departure). 3) Carry a little booklet of Mao's sayings around and get some of those miniature foreign flags and sew them on the sleeves of your gor tex all weather jacket. I'm sure your mother will remind you "not to talk to strangers" but it really can't be avoided. There are times to brag about being an American and times to keep a low profile. Try to photograph things without being observed. Don't miss the trip for anything...I envy you on this trip... Regards, Jerome
