I am torn between my long term view and my short term sense that today's AGA warning signals should be heeded like the AGA's last Spring. My tally of the producers shows Q4 production flat with Q3. Still roughly a 1.5% decline over 6 months is nothing to disregard.

The production decline story is very clear, but after this Winter a big payoff this year could be dependent on a booming economy and/or a blazing hot Summer.

Morning Jim

I noticed APA has finally crept past APC in stock price and actually held at least for now. For some reason I tend to compare the two.

Thinking November 2002 will be when gas supplies will start to tighten. Action in the Mid East should keep oil where it's at or higher.

Big question is when will the market start to notice? Before November or later? Until that time it's a waiting game.
