i don't have data, but i seem to remember that all ten top timers were bullish in jan 99, the market did correct from there and went higher, there may have been some other times in 99 that the consensus reached that level too?

there are times to run with the crowd and times to be a contrarian, there is no doubt that extreme sentiment is found at market turning points, however basing those extremes on recent past market levels can be elusive.

According to the post below, there has been no time before now in the last 20 years when all 10 of them were bearish. The time 9 of them got bearish was right after the 87 crash when it started going back up. So again to me it looks like another case of too many people getting too bearish, and looks like the exact opposite of March 2000.
