<<I had heard their was sp. gold mined in the volcaic mountains of Texas, but it was ignored in modern times because US geos scorn volcanics.>>

8 people of 3 generations of my family worked (and worked rather hard) San Angelo south to Mexico North to N.M. & west to El Paso and didn't pick up enough color to do more than pretty up a pan. You want gold in Texas it is "black gold" or get it from watchin' the sunsets over the Palo Duro.....

I've heard all those stories, but have yet to speak with a solid panner to pull out more than a spot of dust from entire state from LA thru OK to N.M. Most say gold happens places that are or were worked on by water - water just never has happened enough in the few mountains of TX.

Possibly - goldengoliath.com - we are about to find out the hard way, having refrained from selling into the pre-drilling rise, bought a little more in fact ... lots of gold in the occupied territories, California, Nevada, don't know about Tejas, not too likely outside of perhaps the western portion

Did you ever speak with Fredy Huanqui? ... guy who found Pierina
