That's perfect for the mass market....if they can charge 15 cents a minute or so, we could finally see GSTRF reach it's real potential.

A partnership with Wingcast would also be pretty lucrative.

I just hope that whoever ends up running Globalstar realizes that after operation has begun that the primary focus should be in marketing. They arent a technology company anymore....they need to focus on bringing value to the customer. Just look at what Leap has managed to do.....

With G* as part of the chip, could service operators could stop/ reduce the requisite base stations? Service would switch to G* once out of range of pre-existing technology, much like analog does for dual mode phones?
