It's amazing how garbage like that can pass for serious journalism. Even anti-Zionists don't notice the gaping hole in Friedman's logic: the Arabs have been offering this exact deal to Israel for 30 years! It's not in somebody's desk drawer; it's been presented repeatedly to the UN, the U.S., and anyone who will listen. Tom
