I though sodomizing children and screwing sheep were taboo to all cultures. There was a case here a few years ago where a nun got raped on the railway tracks by a native Indian who after walked her over in a state of shock to the Empire Hotel and bought her a beer. His lawyer got up in court admitted all the allegations and said Mr. Yoyo is basically a good fellow using the ever reliable cultural differences song and dance and his client got out in six months. I know some construction workers who bought a girl in Saudi for their pleasure and before they flew back to Canada gave the girl back to the tribe who promptly with one bullet put her down. After being used by the French Canadians she was no longer good enough to grace the tents of her honorable family. There is nothing gained in trying to understand the abominable cultures of those who do not share our values. Defending them is enabling them.

AJ seems to be looking for the usual comic relief via sensationalism. I take it with a grain of salt. But a few points of clarification. 1. These statements are attributed to Khomeini and are not Islamic doctrine. 2. Khomeini speaks for himself and definitely not me. 3. Joe seems to have added his own spin which was probably on top of what some extremist bigot published on the internet in the first place. For example: It is quite easy to find examples of pedophilia, sodomy, sex with animals and extremism in western society; and not just in ancient literature about remote tribal regions. Joe's position is that such things are promoted in Islam which is a ....lie. If you look closely the verbage he references is remarking on consequences not advocating these things. If an Islamic person were to damage a child (or any other person) he should for ever be bound to provide for that childs subsistance. This is a standard kind of consequence for causing permanent damage to another person. I think it would be nice if we forced pedifiles in this country to provide for their victims health, education, therapy, and welfare as long as they live. If a person were to corrupt an animal through sexual intercourse, then that animal should be considered unclean as a source of food. What is wrong with that. If you care to dig into a comprehensive history of sheppards you might see that ...well, it happens. As much as we wish these things would just stop happening, they dont. Any credible explanation of the world and the human condition should take the low reality into consideration as well as guide us to righteousness. I don't want to be eating some sheppards ex-lover, do you? Until recently, most of the regions of the world were populated with tribes and villages where there was no formal education or training beyond a persons physical maturational growth. I do not see why anyone would want to keep a daughter in such a culture from entering into marriage when she is fully grown and has no particular role in the home. Or why Joe would see this as objectionable. Her maturing sexuality could cause serious sibling or incestual problems in such a culture. Apparently Joe's goal is only to provoke disrespect and bigotry through sensationalistic garbage but I already knew that as I am sure you did.
