When things get as bad as this, it takes fortitude to stick with a company. However, I do not see anything in the news other than the dowgrade responsible for this slide

"The Market" seems to be saying that things look about as bleak...

I think the Enron thing has turned into yet another media feeding frenzy. While I don't doubt that some number of companies are run by out-and-out criminals like Enron was, and just about everybody does a little book-cooking, IMHO the current plunge stems largely from the Enron thing getting blown out of proportion. I don't think that many leading U.S. companies are houses of cards with counterfeit balance sheets, but that's what they'd have you think.

They just have to inflate or make up something to keep you watching the ads.

But I'll take Monica Lewinsky over Enron any day.
