Well, I said I was probably early on NXTL, and I was. Now the question is, How much early? It's not showing much indication yet of a reversal, ST or otherwise. Holding overnight, although right now I'd say the odds are that the general and NXTL-specific selloff could easily continue based on all the fears that are being expressed and the heavy selling today.

I'm also wondering to what extent Bush's bad reception in his travels so far, is having a negative effect. I wonder if the markets are as concerned over the uncertainty presented by the bellicose statements in the State of the Union address as are our allies. What we did in Afghanistan was clear cut, and got the support of our allies, and the neutrality of most of the rest of the Islamic world.

The world and the markets hate uncertainty though. Our threat (real or implied) of unilateral, preemptive action, is fraught with uncertaities--and real danger.
