Chris. Depends on the length of the preceding trend

Some market environments are too choppy to provide much in the way of Intermediate holding periods in the few sectors I focus on. But when it does, most of my best trades have been 1 to 5 or even 7 month holds. The weekly dominates there. Though I always use the daily and hourly with it.

But some Intermediate runs are longer. When they are, particularly closer to the 12 month limit (my own admittedly arbitrary definition), the monthly chart comes more and more into the process. Hope that helps.

Hope you PM me the results when you conclude your Long Term study. Am interested in seeing what you come up with.

Best regards,

Isopatch
