Well down south there still isn't any hiring in the software area. Maybe LA is a little better than out here. The guys at my sweetie's work kind of feel like the company might not make it but are afraid to leave still (I think they are under the impression others are still facing cuts and better staying put for a while).

I think it's lame that Hugh Martin would agree to a merger for stock knowing two days later Ciena would miss like this.

Am I missing something? Seems he was holding a stronger hand than that.

Well.... for some reason the chart sure looks like a head and shoulders. Puts at a rally attempt to 32 is probably a good idea.

The secondary offering of Softbank's shares in UTStarcom comes this week. That should take the pressure off the stock.
