The Athlon has roughly as much logic running at the bus interface speed as does the Pentium 4, so the 10% you have running at 533MHz (should be 400MHz) is hardly accurate for comparison. Also, if you're so skeptical of caches being able to run at 2.2GHz on a .13u Pentium 4, maybe you can tell us how fast the cache runs in the .18u Athlon when it operates at 1.67GHz. It's too bad there are no Pentium 4 designers lurking on this board, because I'm certain they would love to discredit your bogus claims.
