Our ONE Lord God in Heaven Jesus Christ came here for ONE reason: to subjugate the Hells and restablish the dominion of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth forever and ever.
Frederick , in the world of men's lives on earth , one of their great loves in passing their time together is a good story . If the fable is "great" , replete with maxims , parables , miracles, of Hell & Heavens , devils , spirits and angels and the One who transcends one and leaves to dwell at last in the other then all the better . Such Fables have immense staying power and persistence , such do men love them and fear to look on life themselves. Easier to believe in a Savior/Hero who made it all right and is waiting to return and save a chosen few , to the exclusion of others.
The statements from the fable of
"Jesus is the only Son of God"
and
" only thru Jesus Christ come ye to the Father"
Has wrought more damage and reeked more havoc upon the face of this planet , and caused so much more pain between peoples than any other belief that have issued forth from the mouths of men ... humble, sincere or otherwise .
You don't see this ? The wars and deaths that have followed on the heels of this cry are innumerable . It is sad that something meant to be so Holy and good has benefitted man so little . There is no one Son of God ...to believe this is pure folly , blind and false .
Jesus himself said he was sent by his God " only unto the lost children of the House of Israel ", so maybe a Son of the Hebrews , but not of all mankind ...the world's history has gotten "rounder" & expanded since the time of Jesus and
his Jewish world ... such claims have come to look more
and more outrageously exclusive and far to excessive
as they always were to begin with .
The world has gotten much rounder and more expanded than the days of Thomas Paine as well...

I can point out a great deal of extremely "mean" and very puzzling things Jesus had to say and did do . Maybe not of the greatest importance but there is the instance of the
swine Jesus supposedly forced some little evil devils into
and then drove the swine into the Sea to drown to get rid of the devils . Why kill the pigs in this way ? He could have used his powers to cast out the devils without harming the pigs , imo , since he was the Son of God ?
MAT 8:30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
MAT 8:31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
MAT 8:32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.
Or the fig tree Jesus sought to eat from but when the tree was without fruit as he approached ( it was not the season for the tree to bear fruit ) Jesus curses the tree and it withers away . Since he was the Son of God , then why didn't he just make it bear fruit instead of destroy it ?
Hardly a very wise thing to do and rather mean spirited wouldn't you say ?
MAT 21:19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
MAT 21:20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
MAT 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
In any case I could go on and shall if you like , but please
understand I would respect your right to wish to emulate the disciple of John the Baptist who roamed the sea of Galilea , and sought to reform the Jewish worship , but to set him up as the only Son of God of man , imo , is pure folly and exclusive . It has been done so many times before.
The wise would not have set themselves up so , would have spent far less time dwelling on the eternal fires of Hell and other such nonsense. At least Buddha and Socrates did not conduct themselves in this wild manner , yet changed the
face of human consciousness just as effectively.
Your belief in Hell and Evil spirits is pure childishness...(or if their were ever a hell Fredrich , it was in the hold one of those White Slave ships that crossed the Atlantic
to America some few centuries ago <G>)

I was going to suggest the same thing for you Frederick. Or at least leave some space for another version of the eternal . There are some wonderful myriad of Truths you are blind to by your excessive devotion. there is one place you can start though .... There is ----> No Hell
It doesn't exist and never really did except in some bizzare ancient Biblical prophet's chronicler's fantasies ...there was only ever ignorance .
All the rest was/is eternally divine . Time for childhood to end .
