You mean they can't afford to make chipsets? Like they do now?

What do they make now? Actually, I forgot. For XP or MP? Are the new announcement chipsets for desktop or MP/workstation, etc.? The other thing is, is this a very late change in infrastructure development plans between AMD and the chipset vendors? If so, why so late? Finally, like I posted before, AMD does, did already seem to have a helluva lot on its plate, even compared with Intel (just considering CPU chip related development, process and manufacturing). This seems to overload the plate some more. Just an observation.
