You forgot earnings. This is about earnings, and projected earnings. Bush is trying to get a stimulus bill passed, and has enough votes in the Senate to pass one that would have a great affect on the market. But the demolibs think a bad market and bad economy will buy them votes. It may work, but it is an evil strategy. Democrats first, Americans second. Sucks.
