SteveC,

"I just purchased an Athlon XP 1800 with an EPOX 8KHA+ KT266A motherboard that is working fine."

Congratulations! I also just got an Athlon XP 1800+ (together with an ASUS KT 266A mobo). However, I still use my good old Geforce 256 DDR graphics card. Maybe I'll upgrade to the GeForce 4 Ti in the next months (or when Unreal 2 will come out...).

Peter

Steve Re...I just purchased an Athlon XP 1800 with an EPOX 8KHA+ KT266A motherboard that is working fine. The ATI Radeon 8500 graphics board though is the coolest part of the computer. <<<<<<<<

I also have an Athlon XP 1800 on an EPOX 8KHA+. I got the Radeon 7500 to save some money, but since I am in the process of upgrading another computer, I am curious about which Radeon 8500 version you purchased. Did you get the 64MB or 128MB version? I have been very pleased with the Radeon 7500 and the 8500 appears to offer a better value than the NVidia GeForce 3 and 4 cards.

TIA
Regards
Ed P.
