You know what you did.
Our posts are preserved in the SI databases, relevant links are below. They, along with the reply chain make it clear what we did.
You deliberately omitted material that would have denied you the opportunity to score a point off of me and my source.

Your replies are becoming too dense and disorganized for detailed reply. You deliberately omitted material
It seems I supplied nearly all the material. Beyond your first French link, the translation, and an embarassingly out of date sidebar from my own link I have supplied all the information that has formed this discussion. You have supplied nothing but mean-mouth rhetoric.

to score a point off of me and my source.
I might have made a well deserved jab at the "massacre" language in your translation but I showed in 2 short quotes why a massacre was unlikely and provided the complete sources of the quotes.

I don't think I have scored any points off you. You have been beating yourself in public over this issue and I just have to point you back to the original facts once in a while to keep you from going way off tangent. It's kind of interesting how you form a view of the situation. I presented the key piece of information to put the story into perspective. Apparently you now think it is my fault that I did not provide within the same post a complete interpretation of all surrounding events.

If you wanted to make a case against the likelihood of a massacre, that would be a wholly seperate issue. It is not the issue.
Go back and read my original post (link at the bottom). That is exactly the case I made. I poo-poo'd the prospect of a massacre and gave 2 quotes and complete links as to why
the situation was not as immediately dangerous as massacre sounds. I "slammed" the Italian press that made that claim and not your source nor your translation of the source.

It's an interesting process in which you make accusations and then try to build upon them as if they were facts. It's nice that this discussion is contained in a reasonable amount of time and posts to reflect upon the entire exchange. Now we haven't mentioned the maps of the water supply in Rome, maybe you want to make that my fault too?
