BLOWBACK

Re: were disinformation too

No, blowback:

3,000 is an average month in Iraq, or it was until recently. What of the ten of thousands of Iranians killed, many victims of chemical warfare, when we were supporting Saddam in the '80's? What of the tens of thousands of Iraqi Shiites and Kurds massacred in the wake of the Gulf War when they foolishly listed to Poppy Bush's "we're with ya!" rah-rah rallying cry? What of the hundreds of Palestinians sorting out their meager lives after the rockets fall and see "Made in the U.S.A." on the spent casings? What of the thousands of "disappeareds" in Argentina and Chile during the CIA inspired and financed Videla and Pinochet regimes of state terror?

My point, so very difficult for y'all on the Right to get through your profound sense of self-entitlement and hubris, is that we're just suffering "blowback" for some really wickedly stupid foreign policy decisions in the last few decades. What in the world is so hard to understand about that?

Best Regards, Ray
