I do not see Television Ads touting the superiority of CDMA. What I do see is "Our plan is better than their plan" ads. Why is that Verizon and Sprint don't market the technology? People I talk to - generally everyday run of the mill types - don't have a clue about the differences...

I agree with you. I don't understand why they they do not try to explain the technology. Sprint has spent millions on those ads where the guy points out that cellular messages can be garbled, and then he says that Sprint has the clear alternative to cellular. But what the hell does that mean? Most people see "cell phone" as a generic term and just see Sprint pushing it's own cell phone program with yet another empty claim. I think those Spint ads are about as effective as the olil company ads that say our gas is better than their gas.

I know plenty of people with AT&T phones who just think cell phones suck, and that's the way it is. They have no idea that different technologies are out there.
