Maybe advice given to Cal in "East of Eden" but a very good thought to begin to mull over. West
has blown the top off of things here for a Saturday morning as I just watched CNN the expose' of JPM and it's
rating of Enron as strong buy when it was selling at 61 cents a share and right before filing for bankruptcy. Is that
proof of complicity or even a smelly if not smoking gun? Duh!
West, I believe you are right and I too have been quiet for similar reasons more in my part for my stand against
the religion of Islam and its part to play, but then I have been told often I pay too much attention to Salman
Rushdie. WTF would he know? He was raised muslim and Iranian by birth so he probably knows
NOTHING of the strings pulling toward the WW III scenario. And we should just all learn to all get along.
West, I ran many moons ago, holding only short term US treasuries, a few dividend paying gold stocks,
and of course what Jay refers to as pretty baubles, lots of 'em. Maybe my heirs will think they are pretty
too if I never have to cash them in. You are right. Even here I do not believe there is but a trace of reality
testing in viewing this precarious house of cards game show called the market.
Good weekend all. Be careful out there kids!
