Wrong. First rule of investing is know the fundamentals and invest based on that, UNLESS the story changes. Shady dealings at the very top of the organization to me is the mother of all story changes. In the face of uncertainty as to the veracity of those reports and in the face of unbelievable market pessimism, it's a heck of alot more prudent to play it safe. There's always time to buy if it's a good long term stock.
