OK. I can be more direct. You said:

Saudi Arabia is a "Muslim nation." By law, you are either Muslim or you are dead. In the Christian States of American, if you're not a Christian, you get dissed regularly by the Attorney General and occasionally by the President. As much as we chafe at that, it's not "in the same context" as being dead. There's no equivalence in the religious underpinnings of the two countries.
