I agree, although generally those who self- identify do go to church sporadically, at least on Easter and perhaps Christmas.......

Are you saying that one can't be a Christian unless one attends church regularly? Heck, Jesus never attended church. Of course, then, maybe he wasn't a Christian. That's a theological point I had never considered before.
