Say it ain't so?? New home sales record largest decline since June of 2000. Insiders bailing out in droves. Building stocks hitting new 52 week highs daily. CNBC parading building CEO's across the screen all saying it's never going to end. Analist upgrading building stocks and raising their targets. HOV closes an acquisition at the peak of the cycle with 80% cash bringing their leverage up to 200% And now..............Drum roll please..........: chron.com Home builders shutting down operations and beginning layoffs. Don't forget that home builders record a sale when a contract is signed, not when a house is sold. I feel like a salmon trying to swim upstream in a dry creak to spawn, but I'm adding to shorts today!!!! Disclosure: Everything I know about home builders I learned from KB. Maybe I should trade KB in for a pet monkey?? Jim
