Rob, Being a Bay Area native and now ex-patriate, I remember how high the prices always were. Especially on the Peninsula. Which used to be small when the Peninsula was considered bordered on the south by Palo Alto. But now it is considered bordered by Morgan Hill. <G> We lived in the East Bay and our housing moved up about the same in percentages, but from a much lower base. Of course, back when MC Hammer built his home in Fremont, he raised the East Bay averages a bit.
