"Assuming you believe in the concept of evolution in the first place. If you don't, then this discussion is meaningless." Huh? Evolution is an observable phenomenon. Living creatures adapt and change as their environment dictates, or they parish. Its only when you use it as a singular explanation for creation as a theory that beliefs come into it. I am not certain that human beings have ever been effected biologically in a linear manner by this phenomenon. I got some cromagnons living on my block but.... Anyway, who is to say the current technical developments wont lead to a .... superior race biologically.
