(Obviously this person hasn't caught onto the realization that when certain goods and services are in relatively scarce supply, their price goes up ....no matter what other prices happen to be doing at the moment.)

So are you working with a lot of buyers who can't find homes?

Yes, but it doesn't keep those shoppers from eventually losing money. Just look at Enron (to name one, I can produce a much longer list starting with telecoms), which bagged everybody from JPM down to widows and orphans.
