Hence the giving away of spectrum in Japan and the pioneer efforts of i-mode. Then it hit Europe... Ok call me naive. The cultural mindset of the Scandinavian is to play close to the chest. Defend with nail and claw what you have.

To defend your market is reasonable, I understand. But carried too far can kill 3G in the bud.

Is a new ball game? Yes, it is. But are the Euro vendors a one trick pony?
