Speaking of supernatural beings, scientists have now created a baby with a genetic defect removed. Story won't cut and paste, but it's here.

Which position is correct? Is this a medical miracle? Or is it the first step toward designer babies, where eventually parents can pick and choose the traits they want their children to have? (Would you prefer a musical genius or a great basketball player?) And if the latter, is it a good thing, or a bad?

then God would want to place in our way all manner and sorts of contradiction, evil, temptation, and other challenges to faith. Providing a road map to clear answers would defeat the whole purpose.
Why? In ordinary affairs, such attempts to mislead would be considered fraud.
