If he really thinks we feel closer to South America now than Europe, he's been sitting in the CA sun too long. I don't agree with him about now, but I do agree about the trend. Hispanics people are a growing percentage of our population. They have more ties to Latin America then to Europe. Overall he might exagerate a bit but I think a lot of what he says is true. I think many Europeans are to quick to bash the US. I also agree that our protection our military presense helps other countries so in a sense it is foreign aid. And when it does hit the fan who does the world look to? I'll give you a clue it isn't France. Tim
