Yeah but Wizard.... we've heard that before. We've seen the market go up. We've been burned too.

I'm absolutely sick of stocks. But that's not to say so sick I'll never invest again, so I guess that's not sick enough.

So the sell side is in pain huh? It's due to repeated self inflicted gunshot wounds. Those of us who took them in have our own wounds from trying to catch falling knives over the last couple years.

Enough analysts aren't doing their homework to give them a bad name. Look at the ML call on CC the other day... Shame on him! The first guy got it exactly right. How could ML come out and say he was wrong with CC confirming the first guy's thesis the very next day? He didn't do his homework! Calls like that give the good guys a bad name.

So... today they whack Disney. Do I believe this call? Maybe they're right, but ML had a call just like this one in December or January and they were absolutely dead wrong.

My kids have passes to the Mouse House and they tell me that California Adventure has been getting more crowded (and they alerted me to it being a big fat bomb when it opened). They added a few things that the kids just love and so now they ask to go there. I should drive down Harbor Blvd and see if there are tons of vacancy signs at those little motels and go to the Denny's across the street and see if it's still crowded. That's probably going to tell me more than an analyst will, at least on the Disneyland front.

All I know is... buy puts on something that goes up on an upgrade and they'll most likely make money in a matter of days. Today's case in point: Manu.

And surprise, surprise... they let Mary Meeker out of her batcave! Care to take a bet on what day ebay closes lower than it did before her upgrade?

I trust my charts. That's it. And I think that there are others looking at the very same thing and trading off of them.... self fulfilling prophecy or not, it's the only thing that is working.
