Thanks for the info on the thread. But doesn't that just prove my point that there isn't a lot of good HD programming out there. If only 50% of HBOHD is original HD programming, and HBOHD is one of a few channels which is HD now, why pay for something one cannot possibly use that often. That is my point to Tim. The requirement by TV stations to broadcast HD by 2006 also might be downgraded to the lower near high density digital format to save expenses and broadband; and because of its popularity; from what I have read in Businessweek.. Which could delay true HD for quite a while.
