Naz will close down 11, Dow down 87.

This is nothing more than residual window dressing.

Kinda reminds me of the last gasp of japan's dying economy- the govt has been buying jap stocks hand over fist in order to prop up the index which might keep the banks solvent for another few months.. long enough for the well-connected to cash out before the inevitable..

VIX is under 22

As predicted by ST. Records are there for the breaking, "mildest recession ever" over, unique opportunity to buy stocks... maybe a one once in a life time opportunity. VIX will probably stay below 22 for the rest of the year...

Lack of consumers out there?? No chance...

HV seems to have crashed to 20 in a short time, giving the VIX more room to go down. I'm guessing they only use the closing price of the underlying since the OEX close has hardly moved since Monday.
