Thank you for your non-sequitur response. I see the Enron scandal as just that ... a major scandal that also serves as a metaphor for the moral depths to which Big Business has sunk in the past five or so years. You, on the other hand, see it as "business as usual" and "let the suckers beware." Fine. End of discussion. We'll see how this plays out (1) in Congress; (2) at the polls in November; (3) on the long-stalled S&P 500. One last point: Your contention that GWB and Lay were not "pals" is absurd. The evidence to the contrary is overwhelming.
