A good set of questions and points. Wonder what sort of response you'll get.

I seriously doubt that there was any substantive war in the history of the human race where no acts which could reasonably be defined as terrorism took place. If there were, I'm not familiar with them.

I'm not sure what a war without any terrorist acts would indeed look like.

No fixation, but if a reply is received, I may respond. I have discussed literally thousands of subjects on bulletin boards in the last 12+ years, and this just happens to be one, and a very important one at that.... Perhaps I am fascinated when one side views their style of terrorism as just and defendable, even when the murder and torture of innocent children are involved. We tortured and murdered many innocents in WWII, and perhaps I am fascinated by the amount of my fellow Americans who hold their heads up high about that putrid and thoroughly disgusting fact.... What could bring closure would be an agreement by all the nations of the world that any government and or military force on this planet that targets innocent civilians as a tool to win a war would be crushed mercilessly by the rest of the world's powers that be.... but I am not holding my breath waiting for it to happen anytime soon....
