Lightning, match, heat, etc. may cause a spark. I was not presenting a challenge the Big Bang discussion. As an event, I have always been fascinated that fire is the source of its own existence (in the temporal sense) and that there need be no fire prior to the event. Other forms flow to or from extinction. Fire (in its many forms) can just erupt into existence.
