As a LT Imclone holder, I am in complete agreement with Cacaito's position of skepticism. I have done research and been convinced of the outcome-- before I had unbiased observers score the data. Hope leads to distortion, whether the hope is for a cancer cure or for profits. No one, however professionally qualified, is free from inevitable distortion. Indeed, it is functional. If we could see ourselves objectively, we probably would be miserable (vbg). How many people do we know who claim magnets free them of pain? The current research is suggestive but hardly conclusive. All of us know people who were given no chance from cancer who survived way beyond prognosis without new drugs. Indeed, I just went to the funeral of a friend who had 15 yrs beyond the prognosis and died from a "treatable" cancer.

The German data will be critical. I have hope, but I want data more than hope.
