BOTTOM LINE: WE TURN SCHIZOPHRENIC: REMAINING SHORT THE NASDAQ 100 AND GOING LONG THE DJIA.

In our model portfolio we will cover the short of the S&P 500 futures initiated last October 8. We will remain short the NASDAQ 100. We will add a long position of two March DJIA futures.

That will leave us with a slight bias to the down side. The reason for the switch is the three week pickup of new stock buyback announcements and the one week resurgence of new cash takeovers. Given the pressure on cash levels of the new offering calendar, if both new cash takeovers and buybacks do not remain strong this week, then we will sell our longs next week.
