TWY, Re: "After that experience I vowed never to waste time debating a person who considered the debate more important than the cause. You know... you remind me in many ways of that character. You seem to enjoy this constant debate. You seem to enjoy the attention posting 50 posts a day brings. You will go on forever what ever the issue is. You seem to think it is all a game... a hobby done for amusement. It seems like a life and death experience for you to admit defeat."

When I first started reading your post, I have to admit that I was drawn pretty well into it. It brought out a more passionate side of you that I hadn't seen before, and gave me a little indication of your inside personality. Everybody has a method behind their actions, and it was very interesting to hear yours.

But then I came to the above paragraph, and was very disappointed to see the level of criticism that you wished to put upon me. I have rarely been so insulted in my life, then to be compared to the juror in your story.

FWIW, I do enjoy deliberating, but not to win. Frankly, I walk away from far more arguments than I win, especially here. Therefore, my goal has never been to change minds, but rather to offer another way of thinking. I can tell that my thoughts are provoking, too; otherwise, I wouldn't return to my computer and find 10 responses in my inbox, simply from a few responses I had given the night before. Clearly people like to deliberate back, and on a forum such as this, it's usually an indication of a meaningful discussion. On the Intel thread, for example, when someone like Milo or Dan3 spams the board, they are 4/5 times completely ignored, and the other 1/5 times responded to harshly by Paul Engel. They are rarely taken seriously by the other forum members. I, on the other hand, get plenty of discourse, and that has always given me the impression that people find value in my words, even though they may not agree with them.

But you, on the other hand, are a very intolerable person. You are so set in your ways, that you are quick to anger with people of the opposite viewpoint. You have several times been banned by this forum for acting outside the posted rules, and I see even now you dance on the border line, holding your Free Pass, and hoping you can get one last word in edge-wise.

People like you disgust me, because you aren't interested in deliberating something civilly. You get upset when you see high post counts, because that somehow indicates that the person, as you say, "considered the debate more important than the cause". Yet, that has never been the case with me, and I find it worth-while deliberating something, as long as I continue to have valid points that yet to be addressed. But I am clearly wasting my time including you in such meaningful conversation.

Therefore, the only answer I can come up with is to ignore your posts. While I find that a difficult decision, based on the few times when you exhibit a great deal of knowledge, it's probably for the best, since you have clearly showed how you consider the situation to be. You can either continue to read the multiple posts that I still continue to post - or you can ignore me altogether. But the fact is that you will not get rid of me without banning me, and I'd like to see you try that. I have done nothing wrong, and I've broken none of the rules. Not unlike the majority of your posts, which break the rules by attacking the person you're speaking with.

So have a good day, Watsonyouth, because your life is going to be very bitter. I hope you have acquired a taste for sour grapes.

TWY,

OT.

Well, it happened to be a double murder in which the accused admittedly shot two correction officers point blank in the head killing both....
....He is now serving consecutive life terms.

I guess he has now carte blanche to kill correction officers for the rest of his life.
