Sort of. And what you suggest is common parlance. But the earnings are not "zero" they are negative.

So more properly the P/E ratio should be expressed as a negative and be read as the Price per Loss ratio. This would be much more informative than n/a.

I believe Dan said P/S, or price sales ratio. Whether or not this is what he meant, I don't know, but he wasn't talking about P/E's.

I am amazed how much misinformation comes out of you. Amd reported positive earnings in 2001. Not that I mistrust your misinformation it is just I prefer 1st call numbers <ggggg>
