Thanks for the info.

I don't care who makes it, as long as I know it will get produced. It's the architecture and marketing approach I was trying to highlight for discussion; I think it will take hold quickly and forcefully. It gives the GSM group (or cabal in these parts -g) a significant advantage by integrating WLAN's. I know Verizon has been involved in some IEEE work with CDMA-WLAN evolution-integration and Sprint has invested in Boingo, but I haven't seen anything out of Qualcomm...
