you do have the jist of what indicators to use for what market. need to get some adx examples later today.. maybe i can learn something ;)

i was looking at the naz and adx.. going back couple years.. look like the adx does well sometimes, and sometimes it's totally wrong. i think nancy's post hit the nail on the head where the ADX takes time to catch up with current price move, especially explosive ones. siliconinvestor.com ---- I dont think there is sense of me posting charts of where ADX did not work, and where it did work (which there was).. Because the conclusion would be inconclusive. ---- If you have any suggestions, im open to ideas. I think the only way to eliminate the lag was to go to a lower timeperiod (ie: ADX (5) or ADX (9)), but it would create more noise. ----- Regardless, my own signal is showing trending for all indices right now.
