Jewish vote in '80 presidential race: Reagan 39 percent, Carter 45 percent. Jewish vote in '96 presidential race: Dole 16 percent, Clinton 78 percent, Perot 3 percent. Jewish vote in '00 presidential race: Bush 19 percent, Gore 79 percent, Nader 1 percent. Re: "So have blacks, Hispanics and other minorities": Blacks were roughly 9-1 for Gore vs. Bush; Hispanics were roughly 7-1 for Gore vs. Bush. Where the Republicans are making gains is among white voters in the United States, not Jewish/African-American/Hispanic voters.
