As Eachus mentioned earlier (but I hadn't seen this delay posted before), I think the chances are now decent that XP Server will support Hammer from lauch, now that they are both being released in the fall.

PS. Only a real cheerleader would suggest that Microsoft delayed XP for Hammer. I am not suggesting that (although I am a cheerleader).

Joe, Microsoft did this do destroy OS/2 (among other things), so there is a precedent. I am not saying that Intel is doing it. I am saying that I am not sure if Intel is doing it or not.

Microsoft planted people on the Internet to trash OS/2, and, obviously, tout Windows?

Maybe you are not aware of certain things, so IMO, a better idea would be to look around, ask questions before you label someone childish or stupid.

I said the people here accusing Intel of what some of you suggest are acting childishly. I said Intel would be stupid, make it very stupid, to plant people to trash and tout. Can you imagine the cacophony if it came to light?
