Albert, check out SysMark 2001:

In SysMark 2001, an Athlon XP 2000+ only performs 69% better than a T-Bird 900 MHz. That must mean it performs just like a T-Bird 1500 MHz. So tell me, where does "2000+" comes from? ;-)

EDIT: Also check out Lightwave 7b on that same page. The Athlon XP 2000+ performs like a 1670 MHz T-Bird. What a coincidence; that's the same clock speed as the Athlon XP!
