Ira,

I have the sx840 with 2 hard drives. I put the floppy in the tape slot and keep the floppy slot unused. Have 2 front and 2 rear fans. I swap Panaflos for PC Silencers in the winter to control decibels. Runs my 1.4 tbird at 40-41 C idle, 45-46 load.

I should note that the PC Power & Cooling BayCools can only be used in a front-mount slot, since they suck air in through the front. You need to get a large tower case that has enough front-mounted slots if you are going to use these.

My Seagate Cheetah's run cool to the touch with these.
