Larry,

What is your definition of significantly higher? If you look over the past five years the Dow has averaged about 10% per year and the Nasdaq about 13% per year. Those numbers would be less if you dollar cost averaged your investment. I would say 10% is significant in relation to 5% Treasuries, not considering market risk. I feel that the world will be a better economic place in the next five years. The world is addressing what oppression is left by banding together and attempting to stomp out terrorists. Communism has fallen; even China has a stealth capitalist mentality. The US economy, with all it’s faults, is still probably the cleanest and most honest in the world. Other countries want to be like us. Why else would Europe want a Euro? The US is where intellectual capital comes, since we offer the best chance to improve their lives. People all over the world can see our standard of living and want to strive for the same. When the Afgans were freed they listened to music and watched TV. The US companies can drive the economic upgrading of the world. This should help our economy and markets.
