Sorry, Ann you are missing the Big Picture, 9/11 either wouldn't have happened or been thwarted if Clinton were in office. And if he was in office and it did happen, we would have handled it similar to the way President Bush and the DoD has handled it.

He did take premeptive action against Bin Laden and it is well documented, if fact he was the closest to taking him out. If we can't get him now in all war, why do think it was so easy to get him then. Besides, Clinton couldn't do any more than he did. The Republicans attacked him for every action including actions against Bin Laden as diversion from the BJ issue that fully OCCUPIED THEIR TINY LITTLE MINDS.

So you tell me about intelligence agencies, Clinton gave the military a budget of some $320 billion, it was not his job to tell each soldier how the money was to be spent. Your reasoning is totally lacking in basis and is purely based on the emotional distate for Clinton and Democrats and the need to justify they are useless. BTW, the Republicans attacked Clinton for sending troops to Bosnia as well.
